Yvonne White

Yvonne Mary White transitioned from life on Sunday October 9, 2022 in Des Moines, Iowa  at MercyOne Hospital.

Yvonne was born on November 19, 1949 in Monrovia, Liberia.  She was born to Albert T. White and Sayekon Fannie Dah.

Yvonne came to the US in 1971.  She lived in Brooklyn, NY  then moved to Trenton, NJ then later to Des Moines, Iowa.

While in Trenton, NJ She worked at St. Francis Medical Center for over 30 years.  Yvonne was very ambitious and hard working.  She worked in the housekeeping department and with her desire to succeed, she went to school and became a phlebotomist.

Yvonne White was a member of UNIBOA organization where she was beloved and crowned Queen.  She was also a member of JCCA.  Both groups hold her in high regards.

Yvonne loved shopping, taking trips and hanging out at the casino.  She also loved spending time with family and friends.

Yvonne Mary White was preceded in death by her father Albert T.White, mother Sayekon Fannie Dah and siblings Albertine White, Andy White, Winifred White and Wanasue White. Yvonne leaves to mourn her death and cherish her memories, her siblings; Louis Jackson,  Ethel Massaquoi, Evelyn, Albert Jr. (Ngawa), Feta, Bill (Vicky), Kedrick, Mydea, Gifty, Evangeline ”EC” (Ben), Liweti, and Eva.  Her children; Jefferson D. Bright, Archibald Pennoh, Mechenn E. Pennoh and Nyvonne “Penny” Fahnbulleh and Albertine A. White along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
